I’m excited to read the next segment, particularly how the Centennial exhibition was a turning point. I must say we were surprised when we were asked to create an exhibit around the theme of “Home is Where you hang your hat”. Thanks Tim for this comment. I don't think the show played a causal role in the subsequent decline. It was more an unintended marker in time. But the symbolic richness of its theme is too good to pass up for reasons that will become clear in the final piece. :)
